Recipe ingredients
- Brochettes
- 4 tuna skewers
- 2 red onions, cut in eight
- marinade
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) white wine
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) allspice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation
Mix marinade ingredients together in a glass bowl. Reserve a small amount to baste brochettes during cooking.
Put tuna in marinade. Cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Preheat barbecue to medium-high heat.
Remove tuna from marinade and thread it onto brochettes, alternating with red onion.
Cook brochettes 8-10 minutes, turning only once. Baste with reserved marinade during cooking.
