Recipe ingredients
- Filling no. 1:
- 2 3-oz. (85-g) tins of lemon-pepper tuna
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 cup (250 mL) grated Gruyère*
- Filling no. 2:
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded green cabbage
- 1 8-oz. (225-g) slice of ham, cut into small cubes
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Dijon mustard*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Coleslaw dressing*
- Filling no. 3:
- 1 7 1/2-oz. (213-g) tin of salmon*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) mayonnaise*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) capers, drained
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) chopped fresh chives
Preparation
Mix ingredients for selected garnish together in a bowl. Salt and pepper to taste. Divide mixture among four hot dog buns. Subs can be grilled in a lightly oiled skillet, if desired.
