Recipe ingredients
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 4 tsp. (20 mL) chopped fresh coriander
- 4 tsp. (20 mL) chopped fresh mint
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sufficient vegetable oil*
- Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) soya sauce *
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) honey*
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a bowl, mix all meatball ingredients, except oil, together.
Make about 25 meatballs.
In a covered skillet, heat oil and brown meatballs on medium heat about 4 min. Cook about 4 min. more uncovered or until meatballs are cooked through.
Drain meatballs on paper towels.
Meanwhile, mix sauce ingredients together.
Serve meatballs with sauce.
