Recipe ingredients

  • 4 black pepper horsemeat tournedos, 6 oz (180 g) each
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) olive oil*
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) balsamic vinegar*

Preparation

Mix all ingredients except for meat. Add the tournedos and cover with marinade.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for 1 h (turn meat every 15 min).

Cook over medium-high heat to taste. Watch carefully, as this meat tends to lose its tenderness if it is too well-done.
