Recipe ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) olive oil
- 1 egg
- 2 cups (500 mL) Kellogg's All-Bran cereals
- 1 cup (250 mL) whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. (20 mL) baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. (7 mL) baking soda
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) pine nuts
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) ground mace
Preparation
Pre-heat the oven at 350°F / 180°C.
Combine the sour crea, oil and egg.
Add the Kellogg's All-Bran cereals
Mix and let rest 5 minutes.
In another bowl, combine the last 5 dry ingredients and mix with the first preparation.
Pour into greased bread pans.
Bake 25 minutes for small pans 4" x 2 1/2" or 45 minutes for a larger bread pan.
Suggestion
Pour a little sour cream on a bread slice; add a little lumb-caviar or smoked salmon slices with chives.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
