Recipe ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil*
  • 1 red onion
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1/2 cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) fresh parsley
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) vinegar*
  • 2 Tbsp (30 mL) honey*
  • 8 Olymel brand frankfurters
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Preheat the barbecue to medium heat.
Prepare four large papillotes with aluminium foil.
Oil the bottom of each papillote and place in order on each one, the onion rings and the potatoes. Cover with minced cabbage and sprinkle with parsley. Garnish each papillote with two frankfurters.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Drizzle the vinegar and honey mixture. Seal the papillotes.
Cook for approximately 10-12 minutes.
Remove the frankfurters from the papillotes and finish cooking them directly on the grill.
Serve with the frankfurters on the sauerkraut, accompanied with hot or sweet mustard.
