Recipe ingredients

  • 1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) lemon juice
  • 5 marinated hot peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) mild chili sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. (2.5 mL) hot pepper sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) oil

Preparation

In a bowl, mix ground beef, lemon juice, chopped peppers, chili sauce and hot pepper sauce.
In a frying pan, heat oil and cook beef mixture about 10 minutes until meat becomes grainy.

Suggestion

Guacamole: purée one well-ripened avocado, add cubed tomatoes, lemon juice, garlic, oil, Tabasco sauce, coriander and salt.
