Recipe ingredients
- 8 chicken breast tournedos*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistible canola oil*
- 2 packages of sliced leeks
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) sweet apple cider
- 1 cup (250 mL) chicken stock*
- 2 red apples, minced
- 8 oz (225 g) herbs goat cheese
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a pan, brown chicken breast tournedos in hot oil 5 minutes on each side.
Finish cooking in the oven 15 minutes until they are well done.
In the same pan, drain surplus oil and sauté leeks 2-3 minutes.
Add cider, stock and apples.
Continue cooking over medium heat 5 minutes. Keep warm.
Spread cheese over chicken breast tournedos and roast in the oven.
Serve chicken breast tournedos over leek sauce
