Recipe ingredients

  • Salsa
  • 1/2 yellow pepper, diced
  • 1/2 red pepper, diced
  • 1 Tsp. (5 mL) minced hot pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Irresistible white wine vinegar*
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) minced fresh tarragon
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) brown sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 top sirloin steaks

Preparation

Preheat barbecue to medium.
In a bowl, mix salsa ingredients together. Set aside.
Slice steaks into 3/4-in. (2-cm) thick slices and thread onto skewers.
Lay skewers on the grill and cook to desired degree of doneness, about 3 min.
