Recipe ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boned and skinned
- Canadian Swiss cheese, cut into four 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. x 4 in. (1.25 cm x 1.25 cm x 10 cm) pieces
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 4 slices prosciutto
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Using a sharp knife, cut a pocket 1/2 in. deep in the thickest side of each chicken breast.
Insert a piece of cheese into each pocket.
Pepper each chicken breast.
Wrap each breast in a slice of prosciutto and close with a toothpick.
Place in a baking dish and bake 20 minutes.
Cut cooked breasts diagonally and fan out slices on plates.
