Recipe ingredients
- Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) fresh-squeezed lime juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) dried parsley
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) brown sugar
- Pepper to taste
- 4 Schneider’s Juicy Jumbos, cut into 4 pieces
- 1 325-g package Doré-mi cheese, cut into 12 pieces
- 3 Granny Smith apples, quartered and cored
Preparation
Preheat barbecue to medium.
In a bowl, mix sauce ingredients together.
Thread wiener, cheese and apple pieces onto a skewer, alternating them. Make 4 kebabs.
Grill kebabs on the barbecue about 5-6 min., basting them with sauce during cooking.
Suggestion
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes first to prevent them from burning during cooking.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
