Recipe ingredients

  • 8 marinated beef mini-brochettes
  • 1 cup (250 mL) julienne carrots
  • 1 cup (250 mL) snow peas
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) 10% cream
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped scallions
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
  • Salt, pepper to taste

Preparation

Preheat the BBQ to medium.
Cook mini-brochettes 3 minutes per side
Spread vegetables, cream, chopped scallions, salt and pepper on 4 oiled aluminium papillotes.
Cook on the BBQ 5 to 8 minutes or in the oven at 400ºF (200ºC) 10 to 12 minutes.
To oven-broil
Cook mini-brochettes under the broiler 4 minutes per side.

Suggestion

Always let meat stand after cooking to allow juices to settle.
