Recipe ingredients
- 4 x 5 oz (150 g) Merit Quality Meats fresh pork tournedos
- Sauce
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chili sauce
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) maple jelly
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) mayonnaise
Preparation
Preheat the BBQ to medium.
In a pan, mix all maple jelly sauce ingredients.
Bring to a boil; remove from heat. Set aside.
Baste the tournedos; cook 5 minutes per side.
Pour the rest of the sauce onto a serving dish; place the tournedos on top.
To pan-fry
Baste pork tournedos with maple jelly sauce.
In a hot frying pan, cook tournedos 5 minutes per side.
