Recipe ingredients
- 900 g Pasta: wagon wheel
- 14 oz (398 mL) tomato sauce*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chicken stock
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter*
- 1 cantaloupe, scooped in Parisian balls
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) whipping cream*
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) freshly grated Parmesan
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Cook pasta in 4 litres of bowling water added with salt and oil.
Cook for 6 to 8 minutes; drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, stir in butter, oil, cantaloupe, tomato sauce and chicken stock; bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes.
Add cream and simmer 1 minute.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
Serve with garlic bread.
