Recipe ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) plain yoghurt
- 1/2 envelope onion soup
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) fresh chopped thyme
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- 4 beef brochettes
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) olive oil
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
In a bowl, combine all onion dip ingredients.
Put the beef brochettes on a sheet of oiled aluminium foil; brush with dip.
Cook the brochettes 6 to 8 minutes, turning from time to time.
To oven-broil
In a pre-heated frying pan, add a bit of oil; then add the beef brochettes.
Brush with dip.
Cook at high 3 to 4 minutes, turning from time to time; lower to minimum heat and continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes or to taste.
Suggestion
