Recipe ingredients
- 4 lamb chops
- Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) prepared mustard
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) liquid honey
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon juice
Preparation
Score the fat on the edge of the lamb chops to keep from curling.
Season each chop with pepper.
In a bowl, mix well the mustard, honey and lemon juice.
Brown the chops on the hot oiled barbecue grill, 4 minutes per side, for medium-rare.
Near the end of cooking, brush meat with the mix.
To pan-fry
In a frying pan, melt 1 tsp. (5 mL) butter with 1 tsp. (5 mL) oil; brown the chops and continue cooking 4 minutes per side, for medium-rare.
Near the end of cooking, brush meat with the mustard, honey and lemon juice mix.
Steamed spinach with nutmeg and lemon juice.
