Recipe ingredients
- 2-170 g tins Clover Leaf tuna chunk or flakes
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) Hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) celery, chopped
- 4 pitas
- 1 cup (250 mL) alfalfa sprouts
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Lettuce to taste
Preparation
In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, onion and celery. Set aside.
Cut the pitas in halves and open carefully.
Fill each pita half with mixture and garnish with alfalfa sprouts, cucumber, tomato slices and lettuce.
