Recipe ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) tossed salad
- 6 cherry tomatoes
- 1 bocconcini cheese ball
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) maple syrup
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 basket of alfalfa
Preparation
Tear salad into pieces and place in centre of plate.
Place 5 cherry tomatoes around the salad.
Use a fork to cut the bocconcini cheese ball into 4 pieces and place randomly over the salad.
Prepare dressing by mixing oil, syrup, vinegar, salt and pepper, using a fork.
Pour dressing on the salad.
Top the salad with alfalfa and last cherry tomato.
