Recipe ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) butter
- 1 cup (250 mL) mushrooms, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) light cream cheese
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- To taste, fresh chopped parsley
- 8 slices Ultra-Moist SUPERCLUB Bread 100 % Whole Wheat POM, lightly toasted
- 16 slices of salami or other cold cuts
- 8 slices of mozzarella cheese
- To taste, tomato slices and spinach leaves
- To taste, salt and pepper
Preparation
In a non-stick frying pan, sauté mushrooms in butter.
Add cheese, mustard, garlic and parsley.
Spread mixture over each of the sandwich halves and garnish with salami, cheese, tomato slices and spinach.
Season and close sandwiches.
