Recipe ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups (500 mL) milk
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) brown sugar
- 3-4 drops vanilla
- 8 thick slices country bread
- 2 cups (500 mL) slightly crushed Vector cereal
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk eggs and milk together. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla.
Soak each slice of bread in egg-milk mixture.
Then dip in crushed cereal.
In a non-stick Silipro skillet, melt butter and brown slices 3-4 min. per side.
Suggestion
Serve as is or with maple syrup.Occasion: Brunch
