Recipe ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) soya sauce*
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) Irresistibles rice vinegar*
- 4 tsp. (20 mL) each: lemon juice and chopped ginger
- 3 Red Grill Angus French steaks, cut into strips
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) each: diagonally cut snow peas and yellow pepper strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) minced celery
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) peanuts
- Fresh chives to taste
Preparation
In a casserole, mix the first 4 ingredients together. Reserve 3 Tbsp. (45 mL). Add beef and refrigerate for 2 hours.
In a wok or large skillet, stir-fry marinated beef strips in hot oil.
Add snow peas, pepper strips, celery and reserved marinade.
Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
Add peanuts and cook 1 minute more.
Serve on rice vermicelli or Chinese noodles.
Garnish with fresh chives.
