Recipe ingredients
- 24 carefully selected fresh standard Malpeque oysters, cleaned
- Oriental Sauce:
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) soya sauce*
- 4 tsp. (20 mL) olive oil*
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) chopped gingerroot
- Lime Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) lime juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) lemon juice
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) finely sliced green onion
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) chopped fresh coriander
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) each: sesame oil and honey
- Hot Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) chili sauce*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) each: ketchup and lemon juice
- ½ tsp. (2 mL) Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Open oysters, detaching flesh but leaving it in the shell.
Mix up selected sauce in a bowl.
