Recipe ingredients
- 10 eggs*
- 1 cup (250 mL) sugar
- 1 cup (250 mL) brandy
- 2 cups (500 mL) rum
- 2 cups (500 mL) table cream*
- 4 cups (1 litre) 2% milk
Preparation
Separate whites and yolks of eggs.
In a bowl, beat egg whites with ½ cup (125 mL) sugar until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with remaining sugar until frothy.
Continue beating while gradually adding brandy, rum, cream and milk.
Fold in egg whites with a spatula. Refrigerate until time to serve.
Serve chilled or at room temperature in small glasses.
Suggestion
Whisk just before serving and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
