Recipe ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) thawed crab meat or flakes crab flavoured pollock mix *
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) mayonnaise*
- 4 tsp. (20 mL) chopped fresh chives
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) each: lemon juice and zest
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped red onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Rocha pears
- 1/2 fresh lemon
Preparation
In a bowl, mix first 6 ingredients together. Salt and pepper.
Refrigerate 30 min.
Cut pears lengthways into 6 slices, avoiding the core (Note: Stand pears upright to cut them). Rub slices with lemon to prevent discolouration.
Top slices with crab mixture.
Garnish with chives.
