Recipe ingredients
- 8 Olymel smoked sausages
- 1 cup (250 mL) salsa*
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) kernel corn, drained*
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup (250 mL) lettuce, minced
- 1 cup (250 mL) mixture of Merit Selection Nacho and Taco cheeses
Preparation
Preheat barbecue at medium high.
Place sausages on the barbecue grill and cook 5 minutes or until well done. Meanwhile, place salsa and corn on a double-layered sheet of aluminium foil and heat on the barbecue grill.
Cut sausages in small rounds and place them in a bowl. Add warm salsa and corn. Mix.
Divide the mixture between the 8 tacos. Garnish with lettuce and cheese. Accompany with a green salad.
Suggestion
To taste, heat taco shells 30 seconds on the barbecue.Origin: Mexican
