Recipe ingredients
- 6 strawberries
- 1 star apple, sliced
- 2 kiwis with skin, quartered
- 2 clementines or oranges, quartered
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) honey*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) maple syrup*
Preparation
Preheat barbecue at medium.
Thread fruit onto 4 brochettes. Brush with honey and syrup mixture.
Place directly on oiled barbecue grill and cook each side 1 to 2 minutes.
Eat plain or with ice cream.
Suggestion
papaya, mango, and pineapple are tasty alternatives that cook well as brochettes on the barbecue.Occasion: Brunch
