Recipe ingredients
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 2 jalapeños, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, germ removed, minced
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 plum tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (15mL) chopped fresh coriander
- Salt to taste
- 4 large tortillas, cut into 16 wedges
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 450°F (220°C).
Guacamole
Using a fork, coarsely mash avocados. Add jalapeños, garlic, onion, tomatoes, coriander and salt. If you are not planning to serve the guacamole immediately, add lime juice and mix.
Crispy pita curls
Cut pita bread into triangles.Using a muffin pan, place center of pita triangles into each cavity, letting the tip and the wider side of the pita triangle stick out. Bake until crisp.
Serve immediately with guacamole.
