Recipe ingredients
- 3 1/2 oz. (100 g) salted peanuts
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) chili powder
- Pinch of ground white pepper
- Pinch of ground nutmeg
- Pinch of ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) chopped fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) sea salt
- 1 3/4 lb. (800 g) boneless leg of lamb, cut into 1-in. (2.5-cm) cubes
- 2 eggs, beaten*
Preparation
Preheat barbecue to medium.
Coarsely crush peanuts.
Mix in chili powder, pepper, nutmeg, cloves, ginger and sea salt. Divide equally between two soup plates and set aside.
Thread lamb onto wooden skewers.
Baste with beaten eggs and roll in one of the plates of spiced peanuts.
Grill, turning frequently, to desired degree of doneness.
Serve kebabs sprinkled with remaining peanut mix.
