Recipe ingredients

  • 16 to 20 oysters in their shells, washed
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
  • 1 Tsp. (5 mL) of each : Irresistibles rice vinegar*, sesame oil, lime juice and honey*
  • 1 Tsp. (5 mL) fresh ginger, chopped
  • 1 small red hot pepper, sliced
  • 2 Tsp. (10 mL) fresh coriander, minced

Preparation

Open oysters, cut muscle but leave oysters in the shell. Set aside. In a bowl, mix the following 6 ingredients. Spread the mixture over the oysters. Garnish with hot pepper and coriander. Serve immediately.

Suggestion

In the serving dish, spread an even coat of coarse salt under the oysters to keep them from tipping.
