Recipe ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup (375 mL) grated CRACKER BARREL cheddar cheese
- 1 package (125 g) PHILADELPHIA cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) port wine
- Irresistibles paprika* to taste
- 1 Irresistibles cinnamon stick*
- 1 Irresistibles bay leaf*
- Assorted CHRISTIE crackers
- Slices of apples, pears and bunches of grapes
Preparation
Blend together the cheeses and wine. Wrap the cheese mixture in a sheet of plastic wrap and shape into a ball.
Chill about 1 hour or until ball is slightly set.
Form wrapped cheese ball into the shape of an apple.
Unwrap; spinkle with paprika.
Use a small piece of cinnamon stick and a bay leaf to form the stem and leaf of the apple.
Serve at room temperature with assorted CHRISTIE crackers, apple and pear slices,and grape clusters.
