Recipe ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) cornstarch
  • 6 à 8 tulip glasses or dessert cups, optional
  • Selection of fresh fruit
  • FLAVOURINGS
  • 1st flavouring ; 1 square (1 oz.) sweet chocolate, finely grated
  • 2nd flavouring : 3 squares (3 oz.) white chocolate, finely grated
  • 3rd flavouring : 1 tbs. (5 mL) unflavoured gelatin in 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) of water, 5 Tbsp. (75 mL) mint jelly

Preparation

Heat the milk and set it aside.
Mix the eggs with the cornstarch.
Gradually add the milk to the eggs and cook on low, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
Divide the sauce into 3 equal parts. Add one of the 3 flavourings to each of the 3 parts. Mix well.
Serve with fresh fruit and frozen peach yogurt. If desired, the frozen yogurt can be placed in a tulip glass or a dessert cup.
