Recipe ingredients
- 8 thin wheat flour crêpes (homemade or store bought)
- 7 oz (210 g) Canadian Camembert
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter
- 16 asparagus, cooked
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) shredded Canadian Swiss
- 1 cup (250 mL) tomato sauce
Preparation
Cook or reheat crêpes and stack. Preheat oven to 325°F/160°C. Remove rind from Camembert, mash cheese with a fork and mix thoroughly with butter. Place a spoonful of cheese mixture in centre of each crêpe, top with 2 asparagus and roll up. Place rolled crêpes in a gratin dish and spoon tomato sauce over top. Sprinkle with Canadian Swiss and bake for 15 minutes. Serve very hot.
