Recipe ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) non hydrogenated margarine Nuvel
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) honey or fruit purée
- 1 x 19 oz can (540 ml) pineapple pieces with juice
- 1/4 tsp. (1 ml) ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. (2 ml) salt
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) 2% milk
- 1 3/4 cup (430 ml) Whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) oat flour
- 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) baking powder
Preparation
Preheat oven at 200ºC (400ºF)
Mix the first 7 ingredients with a mixer by adding them one by one in the order indicated.
In another bowl, mix the flours and baking powder together.
Add this mixture to the first mixture and stir lightly until it is homogeneous.
Fill a lightly greased pan for 12 muffins.
Bake in the oven for approx. 15-20 minutes.
Serve warm with a touch of Nuvel margarine
