Recipe ingredients
- 4 thick slices rye bread
- 2 oz. (60 g) Roquefort cheese
- 2 oz. (60 g) cream cheese
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chopped walnuts
Preparation
Toast both sides of bread lightly.
In a bowl, cream Roquefort with a fork. Add cream cheese and half of the walnuts, blending thoroughly. Spread mixture on bread slices and sprinkle with remaining walnuts. Broil 5 minutes until cheese colours. Cut each slice in two and serve immediately.
