Recipe ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups (310 mL) 2% milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) salt
  • 3 cups (750 mL) ½-in. (1-cm) bread cubes
  • 1 1/4 cups (310 mL) Kellogg's Cinnamon Frosted Flakes
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) raisins
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Kellogg's Cinnamon Frosted Flakes

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F/180 C.

In a large bowl, combine milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon and salt..

Stir in bread, cereal and raisins until all are moist.

Place paper cups in muffin tin and spoon batter into cups. Top with a few flakes.

Bake for 30 to 35 min.

Turn out and cool completely on a rack before serving.

Suggestion

Variation: Use brown bread, white bread, whole grain bread or a mixture of all three.
