Recipe ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) semi-salted butter*
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 cup (250 mL) white wine
- 1 cup (250 mL) table cream
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) ground nutmeg
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Gruyère
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated provolone
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated mozzarella*
- 4 pork chops
Preparation
In a saucepan, melt half the butter over medium-high heat, cook the onion for 2 minutes then deglaze with white wine.
Add cream, nutmeg, pepper and cheeses, stirring lightly for 2 minutes. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until sauce thickens.
In a skillet, melt remaining butter over medium-high and cook chops 4 minutes per side.
Serve chops topped with three-cheese sauce.
