Recipe ingredients
- Lime marinade
- 1 sweet lime, zest and juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) sesame oil
- Fresh coriander to taste, minced
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) sesame seeds
- 16 large frozen cooked shrimp*, shelled and thawed
- 16 melon cantaloupe balls
Preparation
In a glass bowl, mix the sweet lime, sesame oil, coriander, pepper, and add the shrimp and cantaloupe balls. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Using a cocktail pick, stick a melon ball on each shrimp.
Garnish with sesame seeds.
Suggestion
Replace cantaloupe with honeydew melon or mango chunks. Use cooked frozen shrimp and let them thaw in the refrigerator before using them.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
