Recipe ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) cream cheese*, softened
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) dried tomatoes in oil
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Salt and ground pepper to taste
  • 1 16-in. (40 cm) diameter precooked pizza crust
  • 2 6-oz (170 g) tins of tuna in water*, drained
  • 1/2 red onion, minced
  • 1 cup (250 mL) artichoke hearts, drained and quartered
  • 1 red apple, diced
  • 1/2 lb (225 g) grated cheese mix for pizza*

Preparation

Preheat barbecue to medium.
In food processor, mix cream cheese, dried tomatoes, lemon juice, season.
Spread mix on pizza crust.
Garnish with tuna, red onion, artichokes and apples.
Cover with grated cheese.
Reduce heat to low.
Place pizza on barbecue grill, close cover to prevent heat loss, allow cheese to melt, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Serve with a tomato and cucumber salad.
