Recipe ingredients
- 4 ripe bananas
- 4 scoops each ice cream: French vanilla*, Chocolate Chunk* and Raspberry Swirl*
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Irresistible Chocolate and Hazelnut Pieces Spread*
- 1 cup (250 mL) maple syrup*
- 1 cup (250 mL) sliced fresh strawberries or raspberries (or Irresistible Strawberry or Raspberry Spread*)
- 1 cup (250 mL) whipped cream
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped mixed nuts
- 4 cherries, fresh or maraschino*
- 4 Irresistible Hazelnut Cream Truffled Wafer Rolls*
Preparation
Peel and split bananas lengthways. In four banana split dishes (or other similar-sized dishes), put two banana halves apiece.
Cover the bananas with scoops of all three ice creams, with the vanilla in the middle.
Heat the Irresistible Chocolate and Hazelnut Pieces Spread one minute in the microwave.
Top chocolate ice cream with maple syrup, raspberry ice cream with chocolate spread and vanilla ice cream with berries.
Cover with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Garnish with a cherry and a wafer roll.
