Recipe ingredients
- Spread:
- 2/3 cup (170 mL) ricotta
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh chives, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL)) lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. (1 mL) Tabasco sauce
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- To taste french breads
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) tofu, sliced
- To taste red grilled peppers
- To taste watercress or baby spinach
Preparation
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the spread.
Slice the bread lengthwise.
Cover with the spread, top with the tofu and pepper.
Garnish with watercress or spinach.
Serve the sandwiches with mesclun.
