Recipe ingredients
- 2 French shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) butter*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Dijon mustard*
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Meaux mustard
- 1 cup (250 mL) dry white wine
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) parsley, cut up
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 lb. (3 kg) mussels
Preparation
In a large pot, sauté the shallot and garlic in butter for 1 minute Incorporate the mustards and continue cooking for approximately 2 minutes Add the white wine, parsley and season. Once the liquid is simmering gently, add the mussels, cover and raise the heat. Cook from 5 to 7 minutes. Stir frequently during cooking.
