Recipe ingredients
- 4 slices of country-style bread
- Adequate quantity of extra virgin olive oil*
- 8 slices of proscuitto*
- 1/4 lb. (115 g) unripened goat cheese (spread)
- 1/4 lb. (115 g) mascarpone cheese
- Adequate quantity of balsamic vinegar*
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350º F (180º C).
In the oven, brown the slices of bread with a drizzle of oil, set aside.
On a cookie sheet, place the slices of proscuitto and dry them in the oven about 10 min., set aside.
In a bowl, mix the goat and mascarpone cheeses, keep refrigerated.
In the centre of each of 4 plates, place a slice of bread, then add to each a little of the mixed cheeses and a spoonful of preserve.
Top each with proscuitto chips and finish with a dash of balsamic vinegar.
Serve immediately.
