Recipe ingredients
- 12 cups (3 L) chicken broth
- 4 carrots, diced
- 1 stalk celery, diced
- ½ small rutabaga, diced
- 1 onion, minced
- 1 19-oz. (540-mL) can, diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a large pan, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add carrots, celery, rutabaga and onion. Simmer approximately 30 minutes.
Add tomatoes, salt and pepper. Simmer for another 30 minutes or until vegetables are cooked.
Suggestion
