Recipe ingredients
- 1 head Boston lettuce
- 2 pears or asian like fragrant pears, thinly sliced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 tomato, diced
- Dressing
- 4 tsp. (20 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 8 tsp. (40 mL) Irresistibles balsamic vinegar*
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 oz. ( 180 g) tofu, small diced
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) toasted sesame seeds
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine oil with vinegar, salt and pepper.Place the cubes of tofu and marinate for 20 minutes.
In a bowl, place lettuce leaves. Place pear slices on beds of lettuce. Top with shallot and tomato.
Drizzle dressing over salad. Sprinkle sesame seeds over top.
