Recipe ingredients

  • 4 x 5 to 6 oz (150 to180g) top sirloin steaks
  • 4 oyster mushrooms
  • Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistible balsamic vinegar*
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistible extra virgin olive oil*
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) horseradish
  • 30 mL (2 Tbsp.) maple syrup*
  • To taste salt and pepper 

Preparation

Preheat the barbecue to medium.
In a glass bowl, combine all the basting sauce ingredients.
Coat steaks and oyster mushrooms with the basting sauce.
Cook the steaks 3 to 4 minutes on each side.
Cook oyster mushrooms about 2 minutes.

Suggestion

If you do not have horseradish, use old-fashioned mustard.
