Recipe ingredients
- 2 lb. (900 g) cubed beef (4 to 6 cubes/brochette)
- Marinade
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) lime juice
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) Tamari sauce
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) ketchup
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) Tabasco sauce
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) rice vinegar
Preparation
In a glass bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.
Put beef cubes in the marinade and coat well. Cover and marinate about 2 hours in the refrigerator.
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
Remove beef cubes from the marinade, drain well and thread on brochettes.
Grill the beef brochettes 8 to 10 minutes, turning from time to time.
Suggestion
For a more flavourful marinade, add 5 to 10 mL (1 to 2 tsp.) grated ginger and 2 chopped garlic cloves.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
