Recipe ingredients
- 450 g (1 pound) lean, ground pork
- 1 beaten egg
- 125 mL (1/2 cup) seasoned breadcrumbs*
- 60 mL (1/4 cup) dried cranberries
- To taste, salt and pepper
- 4 Ciabatta rolls, cut in half lengthwise
- To taste, lettuce leaves
- Slices of tomatoes
Preparation
In a bowl, thoroughly mix the pork, egg, breadcrumbs, cranberries and seasonings.
Shape this mixture into four burgers and cook in an oiled frying pan for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
Tuck each burger into a Ciabatta roll and garnish with lettuce, tomato slices and curried ground cherry chutney.
