Recipe ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. (600 g) lean or extra-lean ground pork
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) fresh chopped oregano
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) extra virgin olive oil
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Tamari sauce
- 1 onion finely chopped
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
Mix pork and chopped oregano well. Form 4 uniformly thick patties. Set aside.
In a glass bowl, combine all sauce ingredients.
Brush patties with sauce and grill covered 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
Suggestion
For spicier chili sauce, add about 2 tsp. (10 mL) grated fresh ginger.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
