Recipe ingredients
- 4 pork tournedos 4 to 5 oz. (120 à 150 g.), 3/4 in. (2 cm) thick each
- Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) melted butter
- 1 fresh mango, in chunks
- 1 kiwi, cut in chunks
- 3 shallots, chopped
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) grape jelly
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) fresh chopped marjoram
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) 15% M.F. heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
In a glass bowl, mix sauce ingredients 1 minute with a beater.
Brush tournedos with sauce.
Grill tournedos about 3 to 4 minutes on each side, to taste.
Baste tournedos while cooking.
Suggestion
Replace the mango by 250 mL (1 cup) canned crushed pineapple, well drained.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
