Recipe ingredients
- 8 European sausages
- 1 cup (250 mL) fruit ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) sunflower oil
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 sprig fresh sage
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Prick sausages with a fork and blanch in boiling water 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a glass bowl, combine all marinade ingredients. Add sausages and macerate 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat the barbecue to medium.
Remove sausages from the marinade and drain well.
Grill 4 to 5 minutes, turning often.
Suggestion
For a tangier basting sauce, add 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) Cayenne pepper.* We recommend Selection and Irresistibles products.
